Jays Roster Moves

The Jays have made some roster moves:

• Lazaro Estrada has been recalled from Buffalo.
• John Klein has been optioned to Buffalo.
• Jameson Taillon is active for tonight’s game.
• John Smith is active for today’s game.

George Springer, Max Scherez and Shane Bieber are still Blue Jays after the deadline has past. I would have bet Springer would be moved.

Daulton Varsho is in the lineup for the Astros against the Jays tonight.

All in all, I’m happy enough with the return on the trades we’ve made. It was never going to be much for the guys who were going to be two-month rentals.

I’m amazed we picked up Jose Soriano. But he’ll be a nice part of the starting rotation for the rest of the season

and next year.
