Truth be told, who knows what will happen Sunday? This year’s Lions aren’t the dominant team we saw in 2024, and Tyler Shough didn’t play a single snap during the preseason, meaning we still don’t really know what Kellen Moore has been
cooking up for this offense. That makes Sunday’s opener especially intriguing.
For the Saints, it will provide an early indication of whether the optimism surrounding this revamped roster can translate into results and whether New Orleans is truly ready to take the next step.
