Former champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, two of the biggest names in heavyweight boxing over the last decade, will finally hook ‘em up atop a Netflix streamed fight card on Fri., Dec. 11, 2026 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
Too late?
“Two of the best heavyweights of this generation, finally in the ring together,” said Ring promoter Turki Alalshikh, who will co-promote with Zuffa Boxing head cheese Dana White. “This will be one of the biggest fights
in boxing history, I am very happy to make this fight happen for the fans.”
Fury (36-2-1, 25 KOs) ended his second retirement layoff to stop Polish ham and egger Mariusz Wach last July in Thailand. Similarly, Joshua (30-4, 27 KOs) bounced back from a horrific car wreck overseas to put the hurt on Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia just a few months back.
“The Gypsy King” remains a slight betting favorite.
“KO incoming,” Fury wrote on Instagram. “Paper chin, popadom chin.”
“The quietest ones often pull the strings,” Joshua wrote in a separate post. “Those who appear least involved may hold the greatest control. Let them shout first, the wisest wait until the final move. Yours truly, Anthony Joshua.”
