Spain boss Luis de la Fuente was full of praise for Pedri after seeing the Barcelona star impress again on international duty on Saturday night.
Pedri was handed another start against Georgia and set up
the opening goal in a 2-0 win for La Roja in Elche.
De la Fuente was asked about the Barcelona midfielder after the game and was happy to talk about his performance.
“Complete, very serious. Pedri does almost everything well. It’s hard to see him do anything wrong,” he told reporters.
“And he does it so well because there are players who help him unleash that potential. But what are we to think of him? He’s an exceptional player.”
There had been talk ahead of the game that Barcelona had been concerned about Pedri’s workload and had asked Spain to monitor him carefully over the international break.
Pedri was taken off after 75 minutes but may well be back in the starting XI again on Tuesday against Bulgaria.
