Each season, a handful of players outperform expectations during training camp in August, quickly becoming fan favorites ahead of the regular season. It is a player who has flashy moments in practice and allows fans to get really excited at the prospect of what they could be for the Cleveland Browns’ future. We had some good predictions in our Feed post earlier this week:
Here are a few others:
Boston was selected with the 39th pick in the second round of this year’s NFL Draft. Typically,
one receiver emerges as a training camp standout, making highlight-reel catches or generating plenty of buzz from the local media. Gage Larvadain was the breakout training camp receiver last year, while Jamari Thrash filled that role the previous summer. It would not be surprising to see the rookie receiver follow suit.
McNeil-Warren has a chance to make his name known during this year’s training camp. Typically, defensive backs can stand out by forcing turnovers and making interceptions during camp. If he can generate some exciting plays in practice, fans and media will certainly take notice.
Most of the conversation about the quarterback room this offseason has been about whether Deshaun Watson or Shedeur Sanders will get the starting job this season. While a lot of eyes will be on those two, Green has a chance to stand out as a backup. There are not a lot of expectations for him going into camp, so fans will be impressed to see him put together a few solid drives and make some big throws.
Let me know what you think in the comments – Who will be the Browns training camp darling in 2026?
