No NFL game has ever ended in a 41-40 score. That is until Matt Prater booted it through with no time left to give the Buffalo Bills a 41 to 40 victory over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night. That’s an NFL Scorigami!
An NFL “Scorigami” is a final score that’s never happened before in the history of the leage. This is the 1092nd unique score in NFL history.
With high-powered offenses racking up points and analytics telling folks to go for two more often, Scorigami has been happening more and more.
The Chargers and Texans had a 32-12 unique score in January and it was at least the fourth last season.
There are still nearly 1400 NFL scores that have never happened, so it’s not a phenomenon that is going away any time soon.
Earlier this year, our partners at Secret Base did a deep dive into Scorigami, if you’d like to subscribe to watch.
