The Chicago Bears and NFL revealed on Monday the start dates for the team’s 2026 training camp in Lake Forest, IL.
Bears rookies will officially report for camp on July 25, with veterans reporting three days later on July 28.
There has not yet been any information released in regards to which practices will be open to the general public or when fans can expect to be able to try their hand at claiming free training camp tickets. The tickets are on a first come, first serve basis and typically are snatched
up within minutes. After the Bears’ NFC North Division title and playoff run last year, you can expect camp tickets to be an especially hot commodity once again.
In addition to their standard training camp dates, the Bears will have two joint practices with other NFL franchises. The first will occur on August 20 when the Cincinatti Bengals host the Bears two days before the teams play a preseason game. Following that, the Tennessee Titans will host the Bears for a joint practice on August 27 prior to the team’s preseason finale in Nashville on August 29.
Both joint practices will occur on the road, while last year the Bears hosted both the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills in Lake Forest for joint team practices.
The Bears have held training camp at the team’s headquarters in Lake Forest since 2020. Prior to that, the Bears held training camp at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, IL from 2002 until 2019.
