Field Hockey (10-4, 2-4)
The Orange jumped out to a lead against #2 North Carolina, but the Tar Heels rallied for a 4-3 win. Bo van Kempen
scored her ACC leading 20th goal of the season.
Syracuse will head to Boston College on Friday.
Women’s Soccer (5-7-4, 1-6-1)
Syracuse was unable to get a win streak going as they dropped a 1-0 decision to Boston College on Sunday.
Syracuse heads on the road to play Duke and North Carolina this week.
Men’s Soccer (6-5-2, 3-3-0)
The Orange win streak came to an end with a 4-2 loss at Pittsburgh.
Syracuse will travel to Cornell on Tuesday before returning home to face North Carolina on Saturday.
Volleyball (12-6, 4-4)
Syracuse volleyball keeps up their .500 play in ACC competition after sweeping Duke 3-0 and dropping a 3-1 decision to North Carolina. In the win over Duke, Tehya Maeva reached 2,000 career assists.
Syracuse will play a home and home against Boston College this week.
Cross-Country
The Syracuse men put on a strong performance in Wisconsin as the Orange finished 3rd at the Nuttycombe Invitational, just two points behind Colorado. Sam Lawler (12th) and Assaf Harari (17th) led the way as Syracuse knocked off three top-10 teams and showed they will be team to watch this year.
Syracuse’s women’s team finished 23rd at Wisconsin but knocked off regional rival Providence. Selma Anderson’s 52nd place finish led the Orange.
At Princeton, Alycia Hart and Sam Ricchiuti were Syracuse’s top finishers. Now, the Orange’s top runners will prepare for the ACC Championships on October 31st.
Women’s Ice Hockey (4-4, 2-0)
Syracuse swept a road series at Delaware as they start the AHA season. This gives the Orange a 4-0 road record to start the season. After taking the first game in overtime, Ava Drabyk made 22 saves to shut out the Blue Hens in the second game.
The Orange will play a home and home with RIT this week.
