Coming off of the bye week, fans of the Los Angeles Rams were 98% confident in this team, but coming after a win over the New Orleans Saints in which the special teams performed poorly again, confidence
that the team is headed in the right direction has dropped to 91%.
Going from 98% to 91% isn’t the biggest dip, but it is still a dip, and coming off a win where the team dominated, that number may surprise some, but not all.
The fact is that the best teams in the NFL compete and do well in all three phases, the Rams are doing well in two out of three with special teams being the negative outlier.
Due to the NFL being a week-to-week league in a way that other sports aren’t, the swings can be very high, and if the San Francisco 49ers beat the Rams this Sunday how much will fan confidence drop?
Let’s flip that, if the Rams beat SF on Sunday, how much should confidence in the Rams go up?
