UConn baseball released its schedule for the 2026 season, featuring 19 of 56 games at Elliot Ballpark in Storrs.
The Huskies will play six teams who made the NCAA Tournament last season, including College World Series participant Arizona. 27 contests will be against teams who finished in the top 100 of the RPI rankings last season, including 17 in the top 50. UConn went 38-21 a year ago but missed out on the field of 64 for the first time since 2017.
The Huskies open the season at the MLB Desert Invitational
from Feb. 13-15 against three power conference foes, though the exact opponents will be announced at a later date. From there, they’ll play Arizona State on Tuesday, Feb. 17 before taking on Arizona in a four-game series from Feb. 19-22. UConn then travels to UNC Wilmington for three from Feb. 27-Mar. 1 before hosting New Haven in its home opener on Tuesday, Mar. 3.
After that, the Huskies take on Old Dominion on the road from Mar. 6-8, come back to Storrs for one game with Boston College on Mar. 10 then head out to the west coast for spring break. UConn will start with University of Portland on Mar. 13-15, then face Cal on Mar. 17, Santa Clara on Mar. 18, San Jose State on Mar. 20 and Mar. 22 and San Diego State on Mar. 21-22 on SJSU’s campus.
The Huskies’ first home stand begins with Quinnipiac on Mar. 25 before Xavier comes to town to kick off Big East play from Mar. 27-29. They hit the road for the quick trip to Northeastern on Mar. 31 before welcoming Creighton on Apr. 2-4.
UConn then plays five straight on the road against Bryant (Apr. 7), Butler (Apr. 10-12) and Boston College (Apr. 15). The Huskies will battle St. John’s at Elliot Ballpark from Apr. 17-19, then matchup with URI at Dunkin’ Park in Hartford on Apr. 21. They close out the month of April with three at Georgetown (Apr. 24-26) as well as Rutgers (Apr. 28).
The final non-conference series comes against East Tennessee State in Storrs on May 1-3 followed by a set at Seton Hall from May 8-10. The last midweek contest will be at home on May 12 against Northeastern before the regular season closes with Villanova on May 14-16 at Elliot Ballpark.
The top four teams will compete in the Big East Tournament from May 20-23 at Prasco Park outside Cincinnati while the NCAA Selection Show is set for May 25.
