If you thought Tommy Fury facing off against Jake Paul was a circus show, just wait until you see Fury facing off against former “World Strongest Man,” Eddie Hall. Fury will be going up to Heavyweight in a clash between boxing skill and raw physical power. Fury enters undefeated as a professional boxer at 11-0 and owns notable crossover wins over the aforementioned Jake Paul and KSI. He is obviously the most accomplished striker of the two, so this bout is a mismatch in more ways than one. It’s a fight Fury simply can not lose as he has the better technique, speed, footwork and overall boxing IQ to get the job done, regardless of the size disadvantage he will see come fight night, as he will be outweighed by 100 pounds easily.
Hall, meanwhile is one of the strongest men ever to compete in strength sports and has the knockout power to end Fury’s night. That said, I just don’t see that happening because Fury is too skilled to allow himself to be put in a position like that by a novice boxer. Sure, Hall has a MMA win over fellow big man Mariusz Pudzianowski, but a legit striker he is not. This fight has all the makings of a one-sided beatdown, but it came to be reportedly from tensions between Hall and Fury’s father, John Fury, making it as much a family feud as a legit and competitive boxing match. All Fury has to do is use his footwork, circle and tag his foe at will. Hall will undoubtedly throw wild haymakers with little-to-no technique behind them, and will eventually gas out and wilt under the pressure of constant shots. Think Nick Diaz but with more boxing skill behind the striking.
Original Card vs. Actual Card/Injures:
Adult film star Leah Gotti was set to face off against Little Bellsy at this event before a routine brain scan showed signs of an aneurysm, forcing her to drop out of the fight, thankfully, Stepping in to take her place will be Andy Nguyen, a 44 year-old longtime MMA veteran hoping to make it at least through one round in. Super-short notice fight.
When you have a name like Armz, you have to have the build to back it up, and Armz does, with bulking pythons for well, arms, that would make Hulk Hogan jealous. He has one knockout win in his boxing career, which came over three years ago. He was set to face off against Big Stacks, another social media influencer, who bowed out of the fight after he was punched in the face during a wild presser by Jordan McCann, who will also be competing at this event. Stacks reportedly suffered dental damage and a busted lip as a result of the punch.
Who Needs A Win Badly:
Anthony Taylor has seen better days throughout his boxing career. But over his last two fights he has tasted defeat with his last twin coming two years ago. Now, “Pretty Boy,” who comes in with a record of 7-5, will attempt to get back in the win column for the first time in a long time as he battles Matt Floyd, who is also on a two-fight losing streak with his last win coming also coming in 2024. He did start off his career with 12 straight wins, before losing two of his last three. That said, both men need a win in a bad way here.
Interest Level: 6/10
Bottom line, this is an influencer-filled event, so do not expect a lot of high skill boxing technique aside from maybe two fights. In another 175-pound match rapper Swarmz has taken part in a few boxing matches, including a couple against KSI and his brother Deji, losing both to bring his record to 1-4. He will attempt to get back on track and secure just his second win in the sport when he battles Brendan Davis. “B Dave” is an online social media wannabe be comedian and is a full-time member of the Misfits roster.
Jade Jones and Federico Riccio will tango in a women’s 145-pound matchup. Jones has a record of 1-0 in boxing but is a two-time Olympic taekwondo gold medalist. Taekwondo doesn’t exactly pay the bills, so it’s no surprise she turned to Misfits Boxing to get some cheese in her account. Federica Riccio — a model and journalist — steps into the ring once more in an attempt to lock down her first win after coming up short the first two times.
In another 175-pound matchup, Adam Brooks will throw down against Raheem Pardesi. Brooks is 2-1 as a boxer but is mostly known for being a contender creator & political commentator. He is an aggressive striker with a couple of knockouts on his resume, so he is slowly, but surely, upping his boxing IQ. As for Pardesi, he is 3-0 and widely known as a comedian and, you guessed it, a social media influencer. He has shown decent boxing skills, but has a long way to go before we can consider him truly legit.
In the other big man matchup, Ibiza Final Boss will face off against Jordan McCann. Ibiza Final Boss is 2-0 under the Misfits Boxing banner. He is Tik Tok famous and a rapper, but also has skill in the construction field, which obviously comes in handy when needing brute strength in combat sports. McCann, meanwhile, will be making his boxing debut. That said, he has already been stealing headlines after punching Big Stacks at the presser and leaving him leaking from his nose. He and Ibiza Final Boss also had heated confrontations, so expect this fight to be full on fireworks.
Tina Snows smacked Sheena Bathory with a burger (seriously) ahead of there matchup, which will go down at 135 pounds. There isn’t a ton on tape for both of these ladies, but judging by that weak slap from Snows and the aggression — albeit delayed — shown by Bathory, this one is going to be an easy one to predict.
Khallas Karim is a popular amateur and influencer-style boxer from West London looking to go legit. He doesn’t have any official record pro bouts, because he competes primarily in non-sanctioned influencer events rather than professional boxing. He will face off against Luke Nevin, who holds a professional bare-knuckle boxing record of (4-2-0) with one knockout in the BKFC and European circuits
