The Miami Dolphins are playing like one of the worst teams in the NFL, a sad state of affairs for a team that, prior to the start of the season, should have been one competing for a wild card playoff position. As the wheels have fallen off the Dolphins’ 2025 season, the odds each week continue to reinforce just how badly Miami is struggling. In Week 8, on the road against the Atlanta Falcons, it is no different.
The Dolphins are 1-6 for the season, having beaten only the winless New York Jets. The Falcons,
despite their own struggles, are 3-3 and at least playing competitive football each week. The oddsmakers at FanDuel Sportsbook see Atlanta as well ahead of Miami at this point, setting the line at 7.5 points in favor of the Falcons.
The moneyline, setting the odds for a straight-up win from either team, has Atlanta -420 while Miami is +330. The point-total is 44.5.
Will Miami finally snap out of whatever funk they have been in for the first half of the year? Can they pull off an upset win and try to turn around a bad year? Sunday’s 1 p.m. Eastern kickoff from Atlanta will give us some answers – or continue the miserable season we have witnessed so far.
