The Seattle Seahawks go on the road to wrap up September, going all the way from Washington state to, uh, close to Washington, DC. Landover, Maryland, to be exact. It’s the reigning Super Bowl champions against the win-less Washington Commanders in what is the home opener for Dan Quinn’s beleaguered side.
Last season, Seahawks at Commanders was deemed worthy of Sunday Night Football. That ain’t happening this year, as FOX will be airing this game as a regional 10 am PT kickoff. Based on the coverage
distribution outlined by the incomparable 506 Sports, Seahawks-Commanders is not going to see much attention outside of the local-ish markets.
If you’re in the yellow, don’t be mellow, because Seahawks football will be on your local FOX network!
Joe Davis and Greg Olsen, FOX’s No. 2 broadcast team, will be on the call for this game. Davis and Olsen worked two of the three Seahawks losses last season (vs. San Francisco 49ers, at Los Angeles Rams), as well as the 26-0 shutout of the Minnesota Vikings. While Davis and Olsen are high up the FOX charts, the distribution of this one is a measly 12 percent. Only the Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers (8 percent) is getting less attention.
