Bayern Munich fans are thrilled about Munich hosting the 2028 Champions League final. Before that however, the current season finale is set to take place at the Metropolitano in Madrid. A place where Harry Kane has unfinished business.
“I lost a Champions League final in that stadium with Spurs, and it was a tough moment. I hope to return and have a different story this season,” said Harry Kane to the Spanish publication Marca (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
The Spurs dream run

were on a dream run in the UCL. Spurs took down giants like Manchester City and defiant underdogs Ajax who had crushed Real Madrid in the round of 16.
Kane and his boyhood club were beaten by Jürgen Klopp’s Liverpool FC. With a stellar team consisting of Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane, Virgil Van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold etc. the Reds edged past the Lilywhites in a 2-0 victory at the Metropolitano.
Having come so close to lifting his first trophy with his club and then failing at the final stage was a naturally painful experience for Kane and his teammates. Now, playing in Bavarian Red, Kane has a genuine crack at exorcising old demons and tackling the unfinished business at the Metropolitano.
