Harry Kane had a lot of people to thank in his Ballon d’Or acceptance speech. Among them were the two clubs he has played for — Tottenham Hotspur and Bayern Munich. While Tottenham received praise for helping him develop, he praised Bayern for helping him “improve tremendously” since joining.
Kane’s message to the Bayern organization (as recorded by @iMiaSanMia), “Since joining the club, I’ve improved tremendously, not only as a player, but also as a person and as a leader. Thank you to the entire
Bayern Munich management. I know some of you couldn’t be here tonight, but it’s an honor to play for this club and represent you. It’s a real privilege, and I’m incredibly honored and proud to bring this trophy back to Bayern Munich.”
Kane also individually thanked his teammates, his coaches, and the fans in various parts of his speech. From top to bottom, Harry Kane appreciates the support that led to him winning the Ballon d’Or and FC Bayern — including us, the fans — are so proud of Harry Kane for this historical accomplishment.
