Today, North Carolina Courage announced that they have loaned defender Brooklyn Courtnall to Bay FC for the remainder of the 2025 NWSL season. Bay FC will send over a conditional loan fee.
“Brooklyn is a dynamic addition to our roster, and we’re thrilled to have her with Bay FC for the remainder of the season,” said head coach Albertin Montoya. “Her pace, work ethic, and competitiveness bring real value to the team, and we’re excited to see the impact she can make on the pitch.”
After adding defender
Sydney Collins via trade from NC Courage, the two teams are now dealing once again. Courtnall will join the Bay FC’s roster ahead of their match at Angel City FC.
Courtnall was one of the most sought-after college free agents after a standout four seasons at USC. She has made three appearances in her rookie season, so far with North Carolina.
With so much uncertainty on the backline, the Bay FC front office has made a concerted effort to improve it with hopes of making the playoffs again. The team currently sits in 12th and four points below the playoff line.
