- Even though he can’t actually pitch during the month, Jose Urquidy is trying to help the Phillies get to October.
- Orion Kerkering has been bad this year, which puts him at or near the top of the team’s list of bullpen concerns.
MLB news:
- The Mountain returns. Felix Bautista will pitch again this season for the Orioles for the first time in 14 months.
- Brandon Lowe has played well in Pittsburgh, who unsurprisingly is interested in retaining him beyond this season.
- Jose Ramirez got his 1,000th RBI on Friday night for the Guardians. I always wish the Phillies had made a deal for him.
