Bayern Munich’s Jonas Urbig has said it.
So have Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Michael Olise, Morgan Rogers, Luis Diaz, and Joshua Kimmich.
And countless football pundits and former legends.
Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane should win the Ballon d’Or later this month. He absolutely has to. There is no player more deserving of it for the 2025/26 season. Harry Kane has had the highest-scoring season EVER by a player not named Lionel Messi, making his campaign the second-best goal-scoring season of all time.
He has also been integral to England’s third-place finish in the World Cup, contributing 6 goals and an assist.
Bayern Munich goalkeeper and teammate Jonas Urbig revealed in a recent interview (as captured by @iMiaSanMia) that he believes Harry Kane deserves the Ballon d’Or. When asked to elaborate, he responded, “He does both things on both ends of the pitch – he scores goals non-stop, he defends, goes into duels, [and] distributes the ball. He’s everywhere on the pitch; he runs a lot. He’s an incredible footballer, [and] an incredible person. We’re so happy to have him in our team.”
Word.
There isn’t a player more complete than Harry Kane in world football. His ability to play across a plethora of positions and contribute to the team’s build-up and structure with his defending, his midfield positioning and passing, and the way he sprays balls out wide for the wingers to collect—all while scoring a boatload of goals in the process—nobody does this in world football quite like Kane.
Absolutely nobody
