The transfer portal acquisitions are rolling in for head coach Mark Campbell and the TCU Horned Frogs, who’re adding Oklahoma State sophomore point guard Jadyn Wooten to the program. The 5-foot-6 guard from Overland Park, Kansas played in 63 games and was a top reserve for the Cowgirls in her two years with the program. She was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team during the 2024-25 season and was the 2024 Kansas Gatorade Player of the Year. Wooten averaged 12.8 points, 5.4 rebounds and 3.4 assists
during her sophomore season.
Wooten shot 49% from the floor during the 2025-26 season, helping the Cowgirls to a 24-10 record and a fourth-place finish in the Big 12. One of the top available guards in the transfer portal, Wooten joins Stanford forward Lara Somfai and North Carolina shooting guard Lanie Grant, who’ve committed to the Horned Frogs in the last several days. TCU has reached the Elite Eight over each of the last two seasons, going 34-4 and 32-6 over those two seasons. Wooten will be a candidate to replace All-Big 12 guard Olivia Miles as the team’s point guard.
