Despite today’s injury update, there’s no change to the Portland Trail Blazers’ injury report for tomorrow’s game against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Earlier today, the Blazers gave long-anticipated injury updates for Jrue Holiday, Matisse Thybulle, Scoot Henderson and Jerami Grant.
Grant, who is dealing with left Achilles tendonitis, remains out despite the report suggesting he was the closest to returning. Holiday continues to progress with his right calf strain.
Thybulle who was initially recovering after left thumb ligament surgery, is now dealing with right knee tendinopathy.
Henderson appears to be edging closer to a return as he rehabs his left hamstring tear, participating in non-contact on-court activities.
Blake Wesley and Damian Lillard remain the roster’s longer-term injuries with the former recuperating from a right foot fracture and the latter a left Achilles tear.
The Blazers will look to get back on the winners list in New Orleans after going down to the reigning champion Oklahoma City Thunder on New Year’s Eve.
