The Chicago Bears will host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday in an NFC North matchup, with the winner moving to 2-0 and taking the early division lead. Each team has dropped their final injury report for the game, and Chicago’s is spotless.
No one out.
No one questionable.
No one doubtful.
Everyone practiced in full, including left tackle Ozzy Trapilo, who is on a remarkable comeback from January’s surgery to repair his patellar tendon. My guess is he’s still working his way into game shape and may be
inactive on Sunday, but practicing in full nine months after what was feared to be a year-long recovery is outstanding. It’s just a matter of time before the Bears start getting him game-day reps at left tackle.
Also today, the Bears signed safety Keidron Smith to the practice squad and placed safety Anthony Johnson Jr. on the practice squad injured list.
For the Vikings, they have ruled starting quarterback Kyler Murray out with a concussion, and wide receiver Jauan Jennings is out for personal reasons. Starting right tackle Brian O’Neill is questionable with a knee issue. He was limited at practice on Wednesday, sat out Thursday, and was limited again today.
Earlier this week, the Vikes placed running back Jordan Mason on injured reserve.
