Shotzi Blackheart pulled a ‘Rick Rude’ to appear in two televised wrestling promotions on the same night (Oct. 22, 2026). Shotzi is beefing with a Stardom invasion in MLW, and she made a surprise appearance in TNA during a heel turn reunion.
The ‘Rick Rude’ is a reference to the man himself appearing on WWE Raw and WCW Nitro on the same night back on November 17, 1997. That was a historic moment in wrestling history. Several wrestlers have gone on to do the same to varying degrees of importance over
the years. Shotzi can add her name to the list.
Shotzi’s Thursday night started with MLW Fusion airing on Tubi at 8 pm ET. The Ballsy Badass was busy creating battle lines against H.A.T.E. from Stardom. Shotzi had her eye on a dream match against Saya Kamitani. When Rina and Lady Frost crowded the MLW women’s champion, Scarlett Bordeaux had Shotzi’s back. They were still outnumbered, then Zamaya ran in as a surprise ally for Shotzi and Scarlett.
Over on TNA Impact starting at 9 pm ET on AMC, Shotzi arrived as a surprise. Kiera Hogan turned heel by dumping Allie as her tag team partner and reuniting with Tasha Steelz as Fire ‘n Flava. While they pounded Allie, Shotzi ran in for the rescue.
Both MLW Fusion and TNA Impact were taped episodes. In the TV timeline for MLW, Shotzi is women’s champion, so that means she’ll be present for a while longer on Fusion. In the real world timeline, TNA announced that Shotzi signed a contract.
