The Indianapolis Colts today released their Wednesday injury report for Week 13 of the NFL season against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
Quarterback Daniel Jones was limited with a fibula injury today at practice. Jones sustained the injury last week during training, and it limited him in practices then too. Jones managed to play last week but did look slightly hobbled by the injury. Both Coach Steichen and Jones himself said he would be good to play this week despite the injury.
Cornerback Sauce Gardner was a limited participant at practice today with a back injury. Gardner has been nothing short of fantastic since joining the team in a mid-season trade. Gardner and Ward have only played one game as a starting cornerback duo but look like a stellar pairing. He will be one to keep an eye on this week.
Linebacker Jaylon Carlies was a full participant at practice today as he works his way back from injured reserve due to an ankle injury. Carlies managed a full week of practice last week but wasn’t ready to be activated, so hopefully he can make his return to playing this week.
Defensive tackle Neville Gallimore was a limited participant at practice today with a knee injury. Gallimore is part of a defensive tackle rotation that is trying to replace Pro Bowl veteran DeForest Buckner (neck), who is currently on injured reserve and was sorely missed during last weekend’s loss—particularly in run defense.
