Good morning, it’s Saturday, January 10th. The Cleveland Cavaliers are 22-18 and lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday night.
The Cavs play the Wolves again today. This time, on their own home floor. It’s an early afternoon game, so I hope the Cavs secure a win and give you the rest of the day to enjoy it. The alternative doesn’t sound as fun.
Today’s Game of the Day
- Detroit Pistons vs LA Clippers – 7:30 PM, NBA League Pass
The top seed in the Eastern Conference hosts an LA Clippers team that is desperate to climb out of the depths of the Western Conference. The Pistons
have won three straight games heading into this matchup, while the Clippers are 7-3 over their last 10 games.
Sadly, injuries will impact this matchup. Cade Cunningham is questionable, while Jalen Duren and Tobias Harris are already listed as out. It should still be a competetive game, regardless.
The Rest of the NBA Slate
- Minnesota Timberwolves at Cleveland Cavaliers – 1 PM
- Miami Heat at Indiana Pacers – 7 PM
- San Antonio Spurs at Boston Celtics – 8 PM
- Dallas Mavericks at Chicago Bulls – 8 PM
- Charlotte Hornets at Utah Jazz – 9:30 PM
The Spurs and Celtics game is an honorable mention for game of the day. That one could be good.
