Thanks to having last weekend off and some carnage, LSU (4-1, 1-1) was able to climb up two spots in this week’s AP Poll and now occupy the No. 11 ranking.
Now that we’ve gotten that out the way, let’s
point and laugh at Texas and Penn State. The AP’s No. 1 and 2 teams in the preseason rankings lost again yesterday and now both are out of the Top 25 barely one week into October. Texas lost 29-21 to Florida, while Penn State made history as the first top-10 team to lose to an 0-4 or worse team in 40 years, losing 42-37 to previously winless UCLA.
This week’s AP Poll is as follows:
- Ohio State

- Oregon
