Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber is not shying away from the hype being built up for his team’s throwdown with Bayern Munch in the Champions League.
The 24-year-old Dutchman is expecting the match-up to be a satisfying experience for fans.
“Even if it wasn’t first against second place, Bayern Munich is a big club, they have a great team, great players, great coach. It’s going to be a tough game. Both teams want to press, want to play. It’s going to be an exciting game for the fans as well,” said Timber
(as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Timber will be one of the Arsenal defenders tasked with trying to find a way to slow down Harry Kane and the rest of the Bayern Munich attacker. So far, so good, though for the Gunners in the Champions League. Timber & Co. have yet to allow a goal in four games in the UCL.
Will Bayern Munich break the ice?
