The first Championship of the Women’s Professional Baseball League could be decided tonight.
The Los Angeles Queens are in the drivers seat heading into game three of the leagues inaugural Championship series. Game one was a close back-and-forth affair throughout that ultimately went the Queens way. Game two, on the other hand, looked like the Firebells to lose in the early going until a ten run offensive explosion from the Queens in the fourth gave them a commanding lead that the Firebells were never
able to come back from.
Entering game three, the Firebells find themselves on the precipice of elimination.
This best of five series could be over tonight if the Firebells are not able to show the sort of overwhelming lineup thump that led them to the leagues best record in the regular season.
If the Firebells are able to stave off elimination in tonight’s game, game four would be tomorrow at 1 PM. If the series were to go to a game five, it would conclude on Tuesday at 5 PM.
Whether those games are necessary remains to be seen. First, tune in tonight to see if the Queens can become the first champions in league history!
