Doncic himself was one assist short to be the first player in EuroBasket history to have two triple-doubles, going for 37-11-9. Slovenia has clawed back with three straight wins to third place in Group D after starting with two losses. Isreal (also in Group D) is now in fourth place and will face the heavily
favored Greece squad on September 7th in the Round of 16.
Avdija is the fourth-leading scorer in EuroBasket play, averaging 24.4 points per game, and Doncic leads all players with 32.4 points per contest.
