Roxanne Perez is the new #1 contender… for the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship. The Prodigy competed in a four-way at Triplemania 34 Night 1 (full results) from Las Vegas on Friday night (Sep. 11, 2026).
Roxanne’s competition was Nattie Neidhart, Faby Apache, and La Hiedra. Current champion Flammer joined commentary to scout the match. Even though the crowd cheered for Roxanne, the wrestlers took pleasure in teaming up on her. Roxanne showed her moxie to pick her spots, such as trapping Faby in a dangerous
crossface submission. The action broke down with Nattie and Faby getting smashed on the outside.
The finish was between Roxanne and Hiedra. The masked luchadora surged for a Michinku Driver, but that wasn’t enough to keep Roxanne down. The WWE superstar got the upper hand, which caused Flammer to try cheating on behalf of her Toxicas partner. At Ola de Calor, Flammer accidentally clocked Hiedra with the title belt. That same situation went into motion, except Flammer stopped short this time. Roxanne took advantage to shove Hiedra colliding into Flammer. The Prodigy scored the win off the Pop Rox sunset flip powerbomb.
Roxanne will have her title shot at Worlds Collide on September 26 in Chicago. Flammer may not be champion by that date. She has a serious challenge from La Catalina at Triplemania 34 Night 2 on Sunday night in Mexico City.
