The Kentucky Wildcats will face their in-state rival, the Louisville Cardinals, on Tuesday night at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cats should be back near full strength for one of their biggest matchups of the season.
Sophomore guard Trent Noah, who rolled his ankle in the Wildcats’ season opener against Nicholls, should be available to return for the Wildcats after being seen in a boot late last week.
Noah was seen on the floor with the team during the early shootaround on Tuesday, per the Kentucky Men’s Basketball Twitter account and KSR’s Jack Pilgrim. There were also some Twitter rumors earlier that Otega Oweh could be out, but he too was at shootaround and looks ready to rock.
Noah, who got the start in the Wildcats’ season opener, logged nine minutes before exiting the game due to injury. The Kentucky native could play a significant role in the Cats’ matchup against the Cardinals and, hopefully, all season long from behind the arc.
Mark Pope will look to secure his first road victory over Pat Kelsey in Louisville. Tip-off is set for 8:00 PM on ESPN.
