The Steelers elevated two practice squad players ahead of their Sunday matchup against the Cleveland Browns. The team announced Saturday that offensive tackle Jack Driscoll and defensive back D’Shawn Jamison
will be on the roster for Week 17 and revert back to the practice squad following the game.
This is the third game Driscoll has been elevated for by Pittsburgh. He’s provided extra offensive line depth following the plethora of injuries the Steelers have suffered at the position. Now, starting left guard Isaac Seumalo has also been ruled out against the Browns.
A former Philadelphia Eagle, Driscoll has appeared in 67 games with 18 career starts.
Jamison has appeared in one prior game as a Steeler. He’s a slot-capable defender who could provide depth or even see playing time with Brandin Echols out for Sunday’s game.
Jamison has appeared in 16 career NFL games with no starts.
