Chatter was humming, and now it is official. Mick Foley will appear at AEW Double or Nothing.
Tony Khan announced the news that Foley will join Renee Paquette to host the Buy In free pre-show. This will be Foley’s first night in AEW.
No word yet on if Foley is All Elite, but no doubt that Khan will try to secure that deal. Foley is a free agent after requesting to part ways with WWE due to their association with President Donald Trump.
With Foley making an appearance in AEW, the mind wonders if he will be involved in the PPV as well. Imagine Foley thwarting fellow Long Islander MJF to help Darby Allin retain the AEW World Championship. Even better would be Foley as the barber to cut MJF’s hair as the loser of title versus hair. Another option could be busting out Mr. Socko on Stokely Hathaway to help Adam Copeland and Christian Cage against FTR. The possibilities go on and on.
AEW Double or Nothing takes place on Sunday, May 30 from Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York.
