The Washington Commanders fumbled the game away last night against the Chicago Bears, losing 25-24 at home on Monday Night Football. They got off to another slow start, getting behind 13-0 in the 2nd quarter.
Quinn opened up his weekly “Tell the Truth Monday Tuesday” by talking about complementary football, and how important it is to consistently winning games. He was also proud of the way the team fought back from the early deficit, but they have to start faster, and not have to dig themselves out of a hole every week. Quinn didn’t have any injury updates, and we’ll have to wait until tomorrow to get see if Dorance Armstrong practices with the hamstring injury that caused him to go in and out of the game last night.
The Washington Commanders could not stop the Bears rushing attack last night, and it was very clear on the Bears game-winning drive. Quinn saw some things he liked, but there needs to be a major improvement after the Bears rushed for 145 yards. The team is turning their attention to the Dallas Cowboys on a short week, but Quinn wants them to “lean into” the loss and take lessons away from “the kind of loss that really pisses you off”.
