Bayern Munich is coming off another terrific win in the Women’s Champions League as they prepare to play on the road in the Frauen-Bundesliga against TSG Hoffenheim.
When we were last watching the FC Bayern
Frauen, the ladies handled Paris Saint-Germain en route to a 3-1 win. Hoffenheim sits seventh in the league while Bayern enjoys a commanding lead at the top, now six points over second-placed VfL Wolfsburg.
This will by no means be a cakewalk however. Hoffenheim are a solid team with good talent and +6 goal differential on the season.
“After the intense match in Paris, it was really important for us to recover well and regain our strength,” said the UWCL game’s player of the match, Franziska Kett, in comments captured by FCBayern.com. “With the momentum of the last game, we can go into the Hoffenheim match with lots of confidence. We’re looking forward to the game and are fully motivated to go into the international break with another win.”
Prediction: Bayern wins 2-0.
