“Dynamo” is finally making his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut.
After months on the sidelines as a free agent, former Bellator Welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov is set for his long-awaited first Octagon appearance against 36-fight veteran Neil Magny at UFC Vegas 112 on Dec. 13, 2025, inside the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
BestFightPicks was first to report the matchup.
At his peak, many considered Amosov (28-1) the best 170-pound fighter in the world during a dominant Bellator title
run. Even before joining Bellator, he rattled off 19 straight victories. Inside the promotion, he secured notable wins over NCAA champion Ed Ruth, Douglas Lima, and Logan Storley. His lone professional loss came in Nov. 2023, when he suffered a stunning knockout defeat to Jason Jackson as a -450 betting favorite, costing him the title (watch highlights).
Following that setback, Amosov spent 2024 outside Bellator/PFL but returned to action this year under the CFFC banner, where he submitted former UFC veteran Curtis Millender (watch highlights).
Beyond his in-cage prowess, Amosov’s story is compelling: he served in the Ukrainian military during the Ukraine-Russia conflict while holding the Bellator title, earning the support of an entire nation.
Magny (31-13), meanwhile, has rebounded from two brutal first-round knockout losses in 2024 with a strong 2025 campaign, earning back-to-back finishes over Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos and a controversial stoppage win against Jake Matthews (details here)
“The Haitian Sensation” holds multiple UFC Welterweight records, including most wins (24), most bouts (36), and most significant strikes landed (1,501) in divisional history.
Amosov is facing a massive test for his UFC debut — and fans will be watching to see whether he can snap the rough streak recent Bellator alumni have endured inside the Octagon.
