The Philadelphia Eagles are 11-5 heading into their Week 18 matchup against the Washington Commanders, and while the Eagles are resting most of their starters, and the Commanders will be starting QB3,
it could still be a good game.
There’s still a chance for the Eagles to get the NFC’s No. 2 seed heading into the playoffs — the Eagles need to win and the Bears need to lose —, but head coach Nick Sirianni is prioritizing keeping guys healthy, instead. He spoke several times in the days leading up to the season finale about how important a self-made bye week has been for the team over the past few seasons.

A couple of defensive players ended up on the injury list earlier in the week, which only highlighted the need for players to get rest. It’s been a long season, and hopefully they’ve still got a few games left to play.
The Commanders are coming to Philly with a bit of a chip on their shoulder from the game a few weeks ago — a game that featured one of the biggest brawls of the season, leading to three ejections. But, even with Tanner McKee leading the Eagles offense, there’s still a good chance the team does their part to help their postseason seeding.
