The Nebraska Cornhuskers will take on the Missouri Tigers on Wednesday at Bob Devaney Sports Center. You can watch it on Big Ten Network at 6:00p.m.
This match is rescheduled from the Wrigley Field match that was suspended due to a slippery court.
The teams have decided to start back at 0-0 and hopefully we won’t see any “ice skating” or players having to towel off the court. I wouldn’t mind another dance off and some karaoke though.

Missouri is in their fourth year with coach Dawn Sullivan. She came to Mizzou in 2023 and was named SEC Coach of the Year. She then guided the Tigers to a Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2024. 2025 was a down season, and they are ready for a tough schedule in 2026.
Missouri and Nebraska met regularly when both were members of the Big Eight and then the Big 12. Nebraska. The two teams faced each other 75 times, with Nebraska winning 71 of the match ups. A 1977 match up had only two sets play and the two teams ended in a tie. The most recent match up between the two teams was in the second round of the 2023 NCAA tournament where the Huskers won in three sets. The last time the Tigers beat the Huskers was in October of 2003, when the Huskers were rated #1. It was the first time Missouri beat a #1 team.
Missouri got their season 2026 off to a 3-0 start before they fell to #25 Oregon in four sets at home. They’ve also lost to #5 Louisville in four sets on September 9th. Other losses were to Dayton and Toldedo last weekend.
Missouri is led by Sophomore outside hitter, Paige Felder. Felder has 102 kills and 12 aces on the year. She averages 2.76 kills per set. Outside hitter, freshman Ceylin Kuyan averages 2.31 kills per set, she has 60 on the season.
Senior setter Siera Dudley is one of the setters for Mizzou. Dudley has 177 assists on the season and nine service aces. Junior Nina Mandovic is also one of the setters for the Tigers. So far this season she has tallied 128- assists. Last season she recorded 173 assists and 51 digs while appearing in 18 games.
Defensively the Tigers are led by Freshman middle blocker Eva Smith and Senior libero Ainoah Cruz. Smith has 45 blocks on the season averaging 1.13 per set. Cruz has tallied up 198 digs, averaging 4.71 per set.
