It’s time for another edition of Seahawks Reacts! The confidence poll has consistently been in the upper 90s, and blowing out the Arizona Cardinals will surely keep it that way. Relative to the other surveyed sites, the Seahawks have boasted the top fan confidence throughout the year. I wonder what Arizona’s will be like after such a humbling.
Our usual game week question is predicting the score margin of the next Seahawks matchup. This Sunday marks a huge showdown with the Los Angeles Rams, who are also 7-2 and on an absolute tear. The Rams are slightly favored at home against their longtime rivals, and the Seahawks have not been able to beat LA with Matthew Stafford starting. They’ve only been blown out once (home in 2023) with Stafford starting, but a close loss is still a loss. This is by far the best Seahawks team to face really any McVay-era Rams squad, and this feels like a huge opportunity to firmly establish Seattle as the best in the NFC, if not the NFL.
The main question of the week is all about the No. 1 seed. Seattle sits at No. 2 on tiebreaker behind the Philadelphia Eagles, who technically have the inside track on the top spot by winning out. Seattle has been the No. 1 seed three other times: 2005, 2013, and 2014. The common theme? Reaching the Super Bowl. Can at least the No. 1 seed happen again this year? Vote on this simple “yes or no” question.
