So much seems to have changed since the Cleveland Browns late-game loss to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 in London. The negativity following the game was a precursor to QB Joe Flacco and CB Greg Newsome
II being dealt away. The Browns quarterback room lacks a true veteran, while Newsome brought great energy to the Cleveland defense.
Now, the Browns travel to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6, looking for a chance to right their season. As always, health will play a big role in the game. Cleveland had one player out on Wednesday, while Pittsburgh has two key starters missing due to injuries.
Thursday’s report showed a couple of changes (in bold below):
Browns Injury Report
- DT Shelby Harris – Rest, Knee – DNP to Limited
- S Damontae Kazee – Illness – Added as DNP
- OL Joel Bitonio – Rest – Limited to Full
- OL Jack Conklin – Rest – Added as Limited

- TE David Njoku – Knee – Full

Steelers Injury Report
- WR Calvin Austin – Shoulder – DNP

- LB TJ Watt – Rest – DNP to Full
- DT Cam Heyward – Rest – Limited to DNP
- WR Ben Skowronek – Illness – Limited to Full
- LB Alonzo Highsmith – Ankle – Limited to Full
- CB Joey Porter Jr. – Hamstring – Full
- RB Jaylen Warren – Knee – Full

Having a veteran like Heyward go from Limited to DNP for rest while Watt and Slay went from DNP to Full is an interesting way of taking care of the veterans. Austin and Ramsey are the big names on Pittsburgh’s list.
