Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson came face-to-face earlier today (Thurs., Jan 29, 2026) at the conclusion of the pre-fight press conference ahead of their light welterweight title fight this Saturday (Jan. 31) inside Madison Square Garden in New York City, streaming live on DAZN PPV.

Stevenson is out to record his fourth title in as many divisions, all while adding to his mint record of 24-0. The current WBC lightweight champion was last seen in action
defeating William Zepeda in July 2025, which was his third title defense. As for Lopez — the current WBO and The Ring light welterweight champion — he aims to secure one of the biggest wins of his career and secure his eighth straight win.
