Another Friday Night game for Minnesota, this time against the #8 team in the country.
How to Watch
TV: Fox
Time: 8:00
Stream: FoxSports.com
The Ducks are extremely talented and their athletic superiority should be evident
KEYS TO A GOPHER WIN

Say your prayers – I’m not going to pretend like this is a game we can win by just executing better or out-scheming Oregon. Their talent is elite and we would need some help to pull off this road win. It’s not impossible, but we can all agree it’s highly unlikely.

Contain the QB –
Dante Moore is a dangerous quarterback who is capable of picking apart the Gopher defense. The Gophers have been very good at getting pressure, leading the Big Ten in sacks. They will need to get pressure while still keeping him contained in the pocket.

Turnovers and big plays – Getting a defensive touchdown, winning the turnover battle by +2 or +3 would be incredibly helpful.
OPPOSING PLAYERS TO WATCH
- #5 QB – Dante Moore – He’s their Heisman hopeful (albiet unlikely) and the offense runs through him.
- #28 LB – Teiteum Tuioti – The Hawaian linebacker has 4.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and is among the team leaders in tackles.
PREDICTION
Football is fun, right? I’m looking forward to watching the Gophers play on national TV and hoping for an entertaining game.
We have had two weeks to prepare and hopefully, this team is continuing to improve. But the Ducks will win this game.
Minnesota – 20
Oregon – 45
