kick off a three-game series today against the Cincinnati Reds at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento. The Reds, despite being only two games over .500, are just 1.5 games behind the Mets for the final Wild Card position. Cincinnati will be motivated but our A’s are in a great position to play spoiler this weekend.J.T. Ginn will get the start tonight. Ginn is 3-6 this season with a 4.95 ERA. He’s made thirteen starts and twenty overall appearances in 2025. He made one start against
the Reds last August, giving up four hits and four earned runs, but left the game with a no-decision. He hopes to fare better this outing at home. He’ll go up against 29-year-old righty Brady Singer for the Reds. Singer is 13-9 with a 3.98 ERA in twenty-eight starts for Cincinnati in 2025.
