Week 11 of the 2025 NFL Season is already upon us. The Chicago Bears will be visiting our Minnesota Vikings this Sunday in the 2nd meeting of the two teams this season. The Vikings opened the season with
a Week 1 27-24 win against the Bears. J.J. McCarthy led the Vikings to the come from behind victory in his 1st career NFL start.
Series Record: 69-58-2
Home Record: 40-25
Streak: W3
- The Vikings have won 8 of the last 9 matchups against the Bears
- Kevin O’Connell is 6-1 against the Bears as Head Coach
- McCarthy was the 1st player in NFL history to score 3 touchdowns in the 4th quarter of his NFL debut in the Week 1 matchup
- Sunday will be Harrison Smith’s 200th career NFL game, starting 196 of the 200 games played
The Bears are coming in hot, winning 6 of their last 7. It’s the opposite of last year, where they are seeming to find ways to win rather than ways to lose. The Vikings have been hot and cold all season with injuries across the board. The team is fairly healthy now, but the play didn’t reflect that against the Ravens last week. Special Teams have been a disaster outside of the kickers all season. The Vikings will need to be more disciplined than they have been the last few weeks. I have a feeling the Vikings bounce back after a hard look in the mirror. If they don’t, we’ll be looking ahead to the offseason real fast. Just feels like a bounce back game and I don’t believe in the Bears yet. Their best win is a month ago when they beat the Commanders. The Vikings defense will be too much for Williams to handle at US Bank Stadium. Vikings win, Bears lose…as usual.
