AEW’s big Worlds End pay-per-view (PPV) is in the books. Sat., Dec. 27’s show in Chicagoland closed with Maxwell Jacob Friedman taking out Swerve Strickland, low blowing Hangman Page, and pinning Samoa
Joe to win the World title for a second time.
That wrapped up an event that, including the Zero Hour pre-show, featured 13 total matches. The main event was one of only two title changes, with the other being Jon Moxley’s win over Kazuchika Okada in the Continental Classic final.
Worlds End had tons of great action though — get full results and play-by-play here. That means Tony Khan and the stars of All Elite Wrestling should have plenty to talk about at the media scrum kicking off right about now.
So click play up above and get ready for reactions to an eventful Worlds End post-show. The scrum will also likely include some fun in-character work, comments on recent AEW-related news & rumors, some hints of what’s to come for the company & its partners, and who knows what else. These things do have a history of being pretty eventful…
