Reacts Survey Results: Jaguars fans have lost all confidence

This week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans how they expect the 2025 season to end.

79% of respondents do not think the 5-4 Jags will make the postseason.

Jacksonville is above average by its record, but below average by just about any other measure.

Hopefully, the Jaguars will clean up self-inflicted mistakes and get healthier to make a playoff push. This week’s injury report was not a pretty sight. Brian Thomas Jr. returning this week would be a huge boost, especially with Anton Harrison, Brenton

Strange, and Hunter Long all ruled out.

As for the confidence survey, 59% of fans are confident in the direction of the team — WAY down from 90% last week.

I think it will come down to:

Timing of Strange/BTJ coming back, and whether they find a good rhythm.
DBs clamping playing a little tighter so our pass rush can get home
Trevor stepping up and being more consistent

We absolutely have the talent…and the schedule…to win enough games for a wildcard spot.

When looking at our outcomes versus teams and their current win totals compared to the win totals of our remaining schedule the 2025 Jaguars might be on pace to win 8.33 games this year which would likely have them missing the playoffs.

Now a win against the Chargers could greatly shift those numbers as we have 4 7+ win teams remaining to play and our current record is .000 against those caliber of teams.

I think this team might be good enough to beat anyone on the schedule, and bad enough to lose to anyone on the schedule. Given that they were once 4-1 and are now 5-4, and seemingly getting worse each week, I’m leaning more towards the latter happening more often and missing the playoffs.

I think the collapse last week keeps us out.

We need 10 wins, I think. Titans 2x and Jets would get you to 8. The Colts have their Duval Hex, but they also have their best team since Luck hung them up. Chargers and Broncos are likely losses, too. Cardinals, I give us a slight edge.

I predict we end up 9-8, thanks to an easy schedule, but the AFC seven seed will have 10 wins

They have no business in playoffs. Still to many issues with this team.

That’s the beauty of having an inconsistent team. They can be inconsistently bad and good. Guessing that this team will make the playoffs is about the same as predicting whether the coin will land heads or tails.

Too many players have already checked out for the season. No way they make the playoffs without other AFC teams out Jagging the Jags.

The Jags will do just good enough to be one win away from making the playoffs, or they will make the wildcard and lose the first game. That seems to be the way we are trending. Mediocrity.

Had a chance to sweep Houston. Would be much more confident had they held on last week. I say narrowly miss the playoffs because of that. They’re gonna lose a few more but go on a run to end the season, but it won’t be enough.
