Good morning everyone –
There’s lots of chitter chatter about the English Premier League, but why not take a brief moment to look at what’s happening in the north?
The Scottish Premiership is in its final two weeks and, as it stands, Hearts hold the slimmest of margins ahead of Celtic. Here’s a brief look at the table:
- Hearts (77 Pts, +32 GD)
- Celtic (76 Pts, +29 GD)
There are two games left in what just might be the most exciting title race in all of football right now. Hearts are desperately holding onto their lead after slipping up against Motherwell
this past weekend.
For those of you tracking, Hearts haven’t won the Scottish league since the 1959-60 season.
So here’s the question: Will it come down to Week 38?
If so, that could make it one of the most exciting matches in all of football when Hearts visit Celtic. Should the margin stand, that means the match will determine the winner of the Scottish premiership.
Things could of course change before then that could make this theoretical just that – a theoretical – but I find the high-stakes matchup the far likelier solution.
