In today’s Dub Hub:
- Steph Curry targeting a potential return this Sunday against the Rockets, per The Athletic.
- Al Horford encouraged by the progress of his calf strain, still limited to individual work during practice.
- Amar’e Stoudemire, Doc Rivers headline NBA candidates for the Hall of Fame Class of 2026, per ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Golden State Warriors could be getting their most important player back soon.
According to The Athletic’s Sam Amick and Anthony Slater, Steph Curry is targeting Sunday’s home matchup against the Houston Rockets as a potential return date after missing the team’s past 25 games.
Curry has
been sidelined since January with a right knee injury, but he appears to be trending in the right direction. He participated in Tuesday’s practice and took part in a 5-on-5 scrimmage — a significant step forward in his recovery.
That progress hasn’t gone unnoticed. Following the scrimmage, head coach Steve Kerr said he wouldn’t rule out Curry returning this weekend.
While there’s still uncertainty surrounding the exact timeline, the possibility alone is a major development for Golden State. The Warriors have continued to compete without Curry, but the margin for error has been thin, especially against top-tier opponents. Getting him back would not only stabilize the offense, but also provide a much-needed lift as the Warriors push toward the postseason and prepare for their matchup in the Play-In Tournament.

Power Rankings, Week 24: Celtics, Wolves rising as season nears its end | NBA
Though Curry has played in only 39 games, the Warriors have a higher effective field goal percentage (55%, 12th) than they did last season (53.6%, 20th). But they’ve seen the league’s third-biggest jump in turnover rate, its fourth-biggest drop in free throw rate, and its sixth-biggest drop in offensive rebounding percentage.
Draymond Green reflects on his future amid uncertainty
Green has accepted those choices without agitation, letting Kerr and general manager Mike Dunleavy know that he is willing to move to a bench role, if necessary, while still believing plenty of positive basketball remains ahead.
“It doesn’t have to look a certain way for me,” Green said. “I fear ever becoming one of those guys that everybody else know [their time is up] but me. I just never want to be that guy. Ego and entitlement can very much lead you to be that guy.”
