As Uisma Lima (14-1, 10 KOs) readies himself for a fight with Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis this weekend on DAZN, he briefly takes fans behind the scenes of his training camp ahead of what he hopes will be his coming out party.
“Yeah, I like training,” Lima said. “I don’t like be far from family. Training alone, it’s you vs you. It’s not easy to do a camp far (from) your family, friends, only focus on training everyday, everyday, everyday. It’s not easy, it’s not for everyone.
“I think some athletes are so good
but don’t have opportunities. But for America, you have everything since day one. I’m from Portugal, since day one I don’t have nothing, I need to do everything alone. Now is my time to show my skills and everything. I think this fight is coming in the best year for me because I’m almost my prime, 32. I’m confident and people will see this.”
Lima will get his chance to shock the world and launch his own reputation forward this Saturday in the DAZN main event. Join us for full live coverage!
