As snow blanketed much of the U.S. and Canada, wrestling fans were preoccupied with Wade Barrett’s frosty new look.
At Saturday Night’s Main Event, the former Intercontinental Champion-turned-color commentator
appeared with white hair and a beard showing only traces of brown.
“A lot of talking points coming out of Saturday Night’s Main Event, the biggest one being this: Should I continue dyeing my hair grey, or should I let it go back to its natural, youthful, dark brown?” Barrett playfully asked on X.
Many fans responded in favor of “gray” Barrett, with some calling the look “distinguished.” But as the internet does, others saw it as an opportunity to have some good-natured fun.
One fan edited Barrett’s photo to give him Triple H’s longtime hairstyle, writing, “It’s how you play it,” while another fan gave him a perm.
Whether it’s his hair color or his desk work, Barrett continues to stand out in WWE. His commentary is honest, insightful, and often self-deprecating. In an era where few TV personalities embrace a mature look, his “silver fox” style feels like a natural fit for a veteran analyst.
Still, if it’s feedback he’s looking for, the gray gets a thumbs-up from this writer — but what say you? Should he gray, or should he go? Leave your vote in the comments.
