A few days ago Tottenham Hotspur found out who their opponents are in the group stage of the 2025-26 Champions League. Now they know when they’ll play those opponents. The schedule for the group stage was released this morning, and Spurs will open their campaign with a home match against former defender Juan Foyth and Villarreal on Tuesday, September 16.
Tottenham Champions League Schedule
- vs. Villarreal (Tues. September 16, 2025)
- @ Bodø/Glimt (Tues. September 30, 2025)
- @ Monaco (Wed. October 22, 2025)
- vs. Copenhagen (Tues. November 4, 2025)
- @ PSG (Wed. November 26, 2025)
- vs. Slavia Praha (Tues. December 9, 2025)
- vs. Borussia Dortmund (Tues. January 20, 2026)
- @ Eintracht Frankfurt (Wed. January 28, 2026)
I don’t have a ton of strong takes about the schedule since we have to play all the matches, but the one thing I did hope was that we’d avoid having
to travel to Norway in the dead of winter. In that sense, traveling to play Bodø/Glimt at the end of September is almost as ideal as it gets — it’s likely the weather will be cool and rainy rather than akin to the Frozen Tundra of Lambeau Field.™
Otherwise the schedule feels pretty balanced. Tottenham have their fate in their own hands here, and they’ll just need to win the matches in front of them. Not much more to it than that. That said, I’ll be circling the match vs. PSG at the Parc des Princes, and the January game home to Dortmund on my calendar.
